How to Register Your Blog to Google

Until this day, Google is the most widely used search engine than Yahoo and MSN. To be recognized by google search engine and other search engines, we have to register our blog via keywords. The goal is that our blog appear in search engines when someone is typing a keyword in the search engines. When keywords typed match the keywords of your blog, then your blog will appear on the search engine pages.

And that means traffic to your blog. If you run your blog for money, this could be potential earning.

So, how to register your blog to Google? Here are the steps :

1.    Go to www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

2.    Enter your blog URL address. Example : http://www.blogmonetize.com

3.    Fill your comment on the blog theme.

4.    Enter the code.

5.    Click the add url and typed your blog’s url.

If successful will appear :

6.    Then click on the Google webmaster tools.

7.    After open a new window enter your email address along with a password.

8.    Welcome to Webmaster Tools. To start ... Click to add a site.

9.    Enter the url address.

10.   Click continue.

11.   Click checkbox and click the verification of this site.

12.   Copy the meta tag below, and paste it on the homepage. Meta tags should be in the < head >, before the < body > first.

13.   How to put it:

  ·         Log in to the blog.

  ·         Choose a layout.

  ·         Click on edit HTML.

  ·         Copy and insert the tag in the before the .

14.   Go back to Google webmaster tools.

15.   Send your blog’s sitemap.

16.   Add “atom.xml” after url address. ex:   http://www.blogmonetize.com/atom.xml

17.   Click to send a site map.

18.   Done…Now your blog was submitted to Google. You may start to post…
